Request revisions
Send an item back to the writer with notes.

Opening the exam requires Create and edit exams, Assign questions to writers, Compile and export exams, or Reports and dashboards.
- Open the item on Exam management.
- Enter Notes for writer. The helper text says the notes are optional and visible to the item writer when you change status.
- Select Revisions requested.
Accept, decline, or return items does not open the exam by itself. The writer can edit and submit again while the item is in that status. Status history records your name with the move.
If you meant a different status
Each other status is its own button under Change status, including Declined and Accepted. Choose the status that matches the decision.
