Impersonate a user

Sign in as another user, then stop from the banner.

1. Open Configuration, then Impersonation.
2. Under Choose a user, search by name or email.
3. Select Impersonate.

Impersonation appears when you have Impersonate users. The same Impersonate button is on Manage user for someone other than you. Disabled accounts are left off the impersonation list. The banner names the person you are impersonating. Select Stop impersonating to return to your own account.

If you do not see Impersonation

Configuration itself requires Configuration area. The Impersonation section also requires Impersonate users. Only a super administrator can grant Impersonate users. An administrator with Invite and manage users can grant the other permissions, not this one. Other administrators do not see Impersonate users on Manage user, Permissions.
